Billy Hart: A 40-Year Retrospective - Billy Hart was honored at the 2016 Healdsburg Jazz Festival on June 4 and 5, 2016. This two-day event featured performances by Quest and the Billy Hart Quartet along with bands inspired by Billy's albums Enchance and Ocean's of Time formed specially for the event. Lifetime Achievement Award: The DC Jazz Festival honored Billy Hart with its 2015 Lifetime Achievement Award.
Billy Hart was voted #1 Jazz Drummer in the 2015 Modern Drummer Reader's Poll.
Grammy Nomination: The album Enjoy the View with Billy Hart, Bobby Hutcherson, David Sanborn, and Joey DeFrancesco was nominated for Best Jazz Instrumental Album at the 2015 Grammy Awards. As part of the pre-televised ceremony Billy performed in an all-star group with Joe Lovano, Robert Glasper, and Nathan East.
